The McBeen family tree is based mostly on the work of May Dietrich, and her 
books on the Bean/McBeen family history. If you have any additions or changes, 
please send me an email with your information. Access is limited to family

Some of this family information is very exciting, as we have just discovered my 
sister Carol Ewell (Reid) and brother Buzzy Reid. I had lost contact with this 
side of our family (my mother, Dorothy Sargent) and only found Carol and Buzzy 
through the efforts of my cousin May Dietrich. We have traced this side of the 
family from the Sargents to Ladd, Allen, Haynes, Wininger and many others. It 
is very exciting to find these ancestors when they had been lost to me. I had 
no information on my mothers family, before meeting Carol and Buzzy. Most of 
the Sargent/Ladd/Allen/Haynes information came from leads and notes provided by 
Carol Reid/Ewell. She visited our grandfather Sargent in the 1970`s. The rest 
of this information is based on Census reports on the various families.

We have also found that we have a US Senator in our family, Senator Harry Reid, 
the majority Whip on the Senate (number two person in the US Senate). He is our 
first cousin on the Reid side - connected through my step father, Jeff Reid. 
Some of us spent some of our younger years growing up together in Searchlight 
Nv, an old Gold mining town located SW of Las Vegas Nv.
